Carnglaze Caverns is at a constant 10°C underground, cool in the Summer, warm in the Winter, dry in the rain and a place to get out of the hot sun.
Go on a self-guided underground tour to learn how the mine was worked, ending at the underground lake, with its crystal clear blue/green water. It takes around 30 minutes.
Wander up the terraced gardens paths, through faerie villages and on to the woodlands: a round walk of around 20 minutes.
Refreshments are available from the "tea shed"; browse the well-stocked shop; enjoy the tranquillity and listen to the birdsong.
