A discovering walk in Glebe with underlying creek story

The Glebe foreshore walking track is popular with residents, pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. This district has its unique history and is rich in water resources. With the expansion of the Fish Market, it will become a tourist destination soon and attracts millions of people to come here. 

 

It is recommended that you start from Jubilee Park because there is car parking, you can also catch the light rail that stops in Glebe, Jubilee Park, and Wentworth Park. Also, there are plenty of buses traveling through Glebe from the CBD. (Use the Transport NSW site to help plan your trip with public transport)

 

When you walk along the whole route, which is 6km long and takes about 2 hours. You will feel a shift through the water edge, city area, ecological area, and local residential community. Full of surprise for you to discover! Also, there are a few recommended scenic spots near the walking route, hope they can help you learn about the history and culture of the Glebe area. Enjoy the beautiful skyline at Stop d to have some fresh sashimi at Fish Market, or if you would prefer to have some food in local cafes and restaurants near the Glebe Point Rd. The Glebe Weekend Market is quite nice to have a look at. Besides, there is an interesting place for children at Stop f to discover.
