The Gazebo

The gazebo is not a historic structure.  It was moved to Strathearn Historical Park in 1996 from a model house display located in the Wood Ranch housing development. It is one of the sites used for wedding ceremonies on the park grounds.  The first wedding was held here in May of 1998.  For more information about weddings, please visit simihistory.com and click on 'facility rentals.'

The next stop includes the Wood Ranch barns.  Please walk towards the large grey 'Wood Ranch Exhibit Hall.'  Before you reach the barn, you’ll see a rather rickety-looking tall wooden structure with a platform.  This was the water tower that was used for a water tank when this was still the Strathearn Ranch.
