Courtney and David moved to Historic Kenwood in 2024 from Chicago when their last of three, flew the coop. They were drawn to the friendly neighborhood vibe, walkability, and, of course, the weather. Luckily, they found a house that had everything they needed, primarily an ADU and a pool, so their kids had space of their own when they visited. They were short of a bedroom, so they converted one of the garage stalls into a 4th bedroom.

The main house had an extensive kitchen and bathroom remodel; knocking down the wall between  the dining room and kitchen helped open up the whole house, allowing for views of the back  from the front screened in porch which provides plenty of natural sunlight throughout. They were also able to accommodate a long kitchen island to host family and friends in the heart of their home.
