In one fateful night, Pea-Nut rose from obscurity to superstardom, attaining the mantle of the first-ever Fastest Wiener in the West. Pea-Nut set the record with an impressive time of 7.01 seconds. This record stood for an entire year . . . until the 1997, Wiener Nationals.
