Lake Lowell / Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge

Built by the Bureau of Reclamation, Lake Lowell is one of the largest off-stream reservoirs in the american west. Built in 1909 to provide irrigation water for

200,000 acres of farmland. It provides fishing, hunting, and water recreation. It is home to the Deer Flat National Wildlife refuge, also established in 1909.
