Welcome to the Museum of Work & Culture!

The Museum of Work & Culture tells the story of how immigrants came to the Blackstone Valley in search of the American Dream. It is a tale of how these immigrants changed a community, and how the community changed them. The museum was opened in 1997 with the intention of telling the story of the local working class, thus filling a gap in the history of the Blackstone Valley, allowing these stories to be celebrated and told to future generations.
