Miracle Park

The pocket park at 21st/Chicon Streets. The Blackland
CDC Board chose the name in reference to
the Blackland Miracle neighborhood
newsletter.
Adult exercise equipment and additional
children’s playground equipment have been
installed by volunteers at the site. Those
items and a harp at 22nd/Salina were
supported by a grant from the St. David’s
Foundation, the Austin/Travis County Health
Department, and a $1,000 award from the
Mayor’s Council on Health and Fitness.
