UCC

In the UCC the fire extinguisher is located in the UCC office.

It is a Carbon Monoxide Fire Extinguisher. To open this cabnet, you need to slide the glass panel up and reach into the cabnet to unlatch it. It is one of the original fire extinguisher cabnets in the Emergency Department. The Evacuation map is above this fire extinguisher.

There are no extinguishers in the patient area of the UCC or pan room.

The 1st duress alarm is located in the UCC office. Far right of the desk, on the wall at desk hight. The 2nd is on the wall under medication cupboard. The 3rd is directly  under the medication cupboard on the right.

Staff working in UCC should be wearing a personel duress alarm. Check this at the beginning of your shift, check your location on the above monitor.

Code BLACK (personal threat) can be activiated by; pressing personel duress alarm, office duress alarm or phoning 55.

All the doors, and bath rooms are anti ligature, there is a anti ligiture knife in the office (can you find the red box it lives in?). The curtain rails will come down if there is extra weight added to it.

There are emergency white DOOR RELEASE boxes next to the sliding doors.
