Horse Drawn Equipment

In the corner you will see several types of horse drawn equipment and hand tools used on farms.  It was the plow which made agriculture more productive and efficient.  A farmer and a team of work animals which were either horses, mules or oxen would walk up to ten miles to plow one acre.  An acre is the approximate size of a football field.
