Course Start

The start of this navigation course is next to the large map in the corner of the car park, so make your way over to the start point. 

From here we are going to guide you on an easy walk discovering fundamental navigation tecnhiques, tips and advice - whilst enjoying the fresh air of one of Sheffields wonderful parks.

This course will be focused around a strategy, where we break the journey down into different elements and we look at each section in detail before walking along the path to discover how the land compares to the map.

We are going to begin by walking from the car park, to the nearby Rose Garden Cafe. As you can see on the map, the path is marked by a black dashed line and the cafe building is marked by a light orange coloured box. The woods are marked in green on the right of the path and the open field is marked as a white open space on the map.

We have drawn a red line on the map showing the route that you need to take.

Throughout the course, when you get to the destination of each stage, just press the orange 'Next' button for the next chapter of the course.
