27 Hargens Painting

The painting by Charles Hargens, Jr. Was commissioned by M. Karl Goetz of Goetz brewery in St. Joseph to help sell the company’s product through advertising. The painting depicts the first ride of Johnny Fry as he leaves the stables with the westbound mail.
