Last home:

The last stop in our procession is the final home for Arnold. This has been the home he lived in for much of the later years. The family had Easter, Thanksgiving, birthdays, and many Chinese New Year’s dinners here. We would gather during Giants, Warriors, and Forty-Niners championship games feasting on Arnold’s homemade wonton soup, sipping on his infamous turkey jook, or eating fresh crab with red wine vinegar and garlic sauce. Arnold would walk his beloved dog, Jakie, up and down Vermont Street talking to the neighbors while having his evening cigarette. Arnold cared for his small garden and was proud of his roses, orchids, bamboo, and his Gingko tree.

As we end our procession, please take some time to relax and rest before meeting back up at Grand Palace in South San Francisco at 6:00. Thank you for joining us as we bring Arnold back to all of the places of significance in San Francisco. We will likely spread his remains in Lake Berryessa, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, Zhuhai, and Tibet - all of the places where we scattered Nanci's ashes as well. Love you all very much! Thank you for all of your love and support. +
