500 Years Europeans Lost at Sea

Why meet here at the Pier in Old San Juan and why are we in front of this ship? This is pathway to The oldest Governmental building still in use "Palacio de San Catalina" in one of the oldest cities built by lost Europeans in search of spices, so says the official chronicled history. This fortified island has been fought over by dozens of empires, from the Dutch, French, Spanish and German. But before all that, this was part a Taino Arawak First Nation land, anywhere from 10 to 300 thousand inhabited the island then named Boriken.
