April Wind

April Wind derives its name from a painting by Winslow Homer. Homer painted a scene where a solitary figure stands on a sloping cliff. The viewer is almost unsure if the background is the raging surf or the blustering sky. I used an antler shed as a prop for this egg tempera, and I fashioned the sky with a hat tip to Homer.
