Martim Moniz: Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Saúde

As you are standing in the Q to get in to the tram 28, you are probably looking at the chapel right now, which is located next to the tram 28 stop.

Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Saúde is a chapel was built in 1505 in Martim Moniz square.

After the plague killed thousands of people in Lisbon, this chapel was dedicated to Our Lady of Good Health in 1569. 

In 1755 it was damaged during the earthquake of Lisbon and the current church built on its place. It kept the early-18th-century portal, and the interior has tile panels from that period.
