Valenças Palace

On the right side we will see the Valenças Palace also known as the Duche Palace. A work by the Italian Giuseppe Cinatti.

The Municipal Palace of Valenças was built in the middle of the second half of the 19th century and is part of the eclectic romantic trend that proliferated in the Sintra mountains, and around it, throughout the 19th century.

The Palace was built on the site where until around 1850 the municipal slaughterhouse of Sintra operated. Currently, the building serves as an institutional representation.
