Esther Lo “Black & White“

The original Chinese ink paintings are only in black and white, the colors are subtle and rich in changes. Black and white are the extremes of light and dark, which remind us of the alternation of day and night, and the cycle of Yin and Yang. White symbolizes purity and black means nobility and solemnity. I choose the combination of black and white because I think it is the clearest, most elegant and simple combination. By adding a touch of colour changeable lighting, it creates an artistic conception of mystery, infinity, remoteness and indifference.
