Yipang “Selective Sanctity”

"Selective Sanctity" is a work that challenges viewers to confront moral hypocrisy by reflecting on the Ten Commandments' modern relevance, and how our moral compass has shifted in the 21st century.

The installation features a maze of broken mirrors, each representing a commandment. The reflections prompt viewers to consider how individuals, communities and even states often violate these moral principles with little consequence. This selective adherence also sheds light on the prevalence of double standards in our society.
