Continue south on 2nd street until you reach Santa Monica Blvd.

On the corner of 2nd Street and Santa Monica Blvd is the Ye Olde King's Head founded in 1974 by British ex-patriots, The pub offers a cozy atmosphere, warm hospitality, and authentic British cuisine.

Many famous people have visited Ye Olde King's Head over the years, including Princess Margaret, George Harrison, and even members of the British royal family. 

Jim Morrison’s, who later became the lead singer for “The Doors”, first public performance was here at the Kings Head.

Tom Jones, Pierce Brosnan, Rod Stwert, Tom Cruise and wife Nicole Kidman were all regulars at the bar in Santa Monica, California. Ian Bothman has played for the pub cricket team, rocker Billy Idol comes for his sunday roast dinner and Naomi Campbell frequently pulls up for home-cooked British food in a sleek black limo. "Aye, they all come here," claims  Birmingham-born Phil Elwell, owner of the King's Head.

Tom Hanks rented the back room for a cast party for the film "Saving Private Ryan".

Ozzie Osborne is still a regular and Black Sabbath, ELO and Led Zeppelin all use the pub as a base when they were in town.

The restaurant  is a popular film location where Charlie's Angels" filmed  and Angela Lansbury has used the interior for "Murder, She Wrote."
