Lets now head to the main dining area which is right off the lobby. This room was once the Henderson family’s parlor for entertaining guests. Above us, at the base of the King’s Tower, a stained-glass window holds an evil eye which is meant to guard the Castle against spirits and unwelcome visitors. And it may be needed…Henderson Castle is consistently ranked among the top three most haunted places in Michigan.  

Paranormal investigations by SMP report a lot of activity in this area, including shadow movements, voices, Mary telling someone to leave, and digital recordings of a woman accurately identifying the flavor of the red velvet cake and color of the napkins in the room.
