A pilot's chronograph, typically gifted to Luftwaffe squadron leaders of World War II, can be found below the aforementioned scroll. Surviving leaders would pass this watch to their successors. Interestingly, this timepiece was manufactured by A. Lange & Söhne, who also made a personal watch now present in the exhibit. The back of the watch carries markings that allowed a tracing of the watch's delivery to the Luftwaffe, dated 22nd September 1943.
