I see that you are currently in the CSP Section of our Towel Unit 2 . CSP stands for / is an abbreviation for  Cut , Stitch & Pack. This is the section that gets in action once they receive the processed or finished material from the process house. The aim of this section is primarily to undertake 5 types of processes – these are  Length Cutting, Length Hemming, Cross Cutting, Cross Hemming and Packing the Finished Goods after they pass the requisite Quality Checks. Before I explain the Machines & the processes they enable- in a little more detail please ensure that you are standing on the sticker and are aligned to the ‘direction’ indicated.Let’s start – The machine you see in front of you right now – where you can probably spot a Sticker of me too :: This is called length cutting machine. It is of Schmale make which is a german brand. The model number is schmale 550. This machine is fed with ‘a lot’ of processed material Now ‘A lot’ generally contains 2, 3 or 4 ropes of towel which are still bound together as they were weaved on a single platform / loom. Now since You, I and all of our customers require our towels to be of a certain Size and for them to be packed individually – this machine aids in cutting the multiple intertwined ropes of towels into a singular rope of multiple towels.Boy is this machine fast – it operates at an rpm of 10. These separated or Length Cut ropes of single towels are NOW fed to another machine called the Length hemming machine for further processing. Please Identify VTA 2 to know more about that
