Dock Street Brewery West

As shown in this image, the brewery’s old brick building was originally a firehouse built in 1903. After the fire companies moved out in the 1980s, the neighborhood organization Cedar Park Neighbors bought the city’s building. CPN turned it into a farmer’s market with prepared foods and groceries to accommodate minority-owned small businesses. After that failed financially in the 2000s, the brewpub developed in 2007.

Please observe the customers of the Dock Street Brewery, the Firehouse Bicycles, and the Satellite Coffeeshop. Are these places the gentrifiers? More information about the brewery and Cedar Park Neighbors is available at the corner building of Baltimore Avenue & Willows Avenue.
