Our historic courthouse, built in 1929, is one of DeLand's most visible landmarks. Its copper dome and clock tower have stood watch over a century of legal disputes.
These days most trials and hearings take place in a modern new courthouse. That leaves the old courthouse available for Volusia County’s ghosts to carry on with the legal issues they cared about, back when the old courthouse was new.
