Free and fair elections are the bedrock of a peaceful democracy. When all persons have equal opportunity and access to cast an informed ballot, we succeed as a society. When this fundamental right is blocked, we stumble and fall as a society. In 2021, 19 states passed new laws restricting access to voting, making it harder for eligible citizens to vote, with persons of color and persons with lower socio-economic status being most impacted by these new barriers.

Epworth serves as a polling place for our area and considers it a point of pride to offer this resource to our community. Everyone’s voice matters and everyone’s vote matters. Let’s continue to provide a way for all eligible members of our society to make their voice heard.
