English Lavender Plants

Next, we see a long bed of English lavender plants.  Lavender is a pretty contrast to the other flowers in color and also benefits the area with its fragrant scents. 

It's interesting to note that lavender is in the mint family.  And like other plants in the mint family, lavender repels bugs such as mosquitos, fleas, moths, and ticks.

Not only is it great at repelling nuisance bugs, but lavender also attracts beneficial pollinators to its fragrant blooms.  Lavender helps attract butterflies, bees, and other helpful insects to the garden.
