Wangari Maathai

Servant Leaders are Stewards of Mother Earth and all the resources in their communities and organizations. Wangari Maathai (1940-2011) is a grand example of such a servant leader. Throughout the world, she is known as “The Woman Who Planted Millions of Trees."
