Wat Umong

Sawa-dee Khrab.

Wat Umong
was created in 1297 CE by King Mengrai during the time of the Lanna Kingdom. He is the same King who founded the city of Chiang Mai.

Wat Umong, also known as the “Temple of Tunnels”, features many attractions such as walkable tunnels.

Wat Umong is a forest monastery for those seeking a quiet place to meditate, enjoy nature, and understand The Teachings of The Buddha.

A Buddhist Temple is a community center, a learning center, a place to grow and evolve into a better human being.

I am going to provide you an audio tour of our Temple to help you understand more about the Temple and The Teachings of The Buddha.

The multiple stations of our tour await you.

(Tour is approximately 90 minutes in the foothill of the Doi Suthep mountain in Chiang Mai, Thailand.)

(Note: This tour can be download to use offline when there is no internet connection available.)

Support our efforts to share The Teachings of Gotama Buddha with you and worldwide for all people using this link.
