On its 90th anniversary in 2013, BMW Motorrad paid homage to its classic boxer twins with the retr0-styled R nineT. The bike installed BMW’s boxer twin in a steeltube space frame, with upside-down forks, a Paralever swingarm, a dual-pipe Akrapović titanium exhaust, spoked wheels, and hand-crafted details like a partiallypainted fuel tank that recalls the /5’s toaster tank. The bike seen here normally lives in Brian and Tricia Dutcher’s living room. “We can look at it every day, and if it goes sideways as an investment, we can roll it out the door and enjoy it for what it was made for!”
