The Churchyard

In the late 1940s the grave stones were removed and the North churchyard levelled. Note the rise of land towards the church caused by many burials over the centuries.

At the centre of the burial ground is a magnificent cross that was given by Canon Cooke-Yarborough in 1908 in memory of his brother and sister.

Turn back to the Abbey and look at the North Transept.
