The title of this work “Refection” is defined as “refreshment of mind, spirit, or body. Over decades I have gone into nature and built fires, not only when camping but also to experience the effects of nature and fire have on my psyche. Here multiple fires burn into the distance while birds animate the forest, reminding us that even in a stark winter landscape nature is always renewing and providing the “refreshment of mind, spirit, or body.”
