At the first floor of the servant's staircase, sits the pastry room, originally the kitchen.
It features a snowflake door handle, original chopping block, and the “son” chandelier from the Castle’s trio set.
The room includes tin ceiling panels from the Detroit Masonic Temple and stained-glass shutters made from original cabinet doors
The server’s station and cabinetry are original and still in use for the h Chophouse; the back once stored food and ice, while the front held dishes. Today this is where we bake and prepare pastries.
