Once the site of lavish parties, Freemason meetings, and even government gatherings, this grand ballroom has seen charters and bills drafted beneath its chandeliers. The original bar still stands, while four of six imported European chandeliers remain. The other two mysteriously vanished decades ago under K college ownership when the castle once again was left vacant.
The organ is original and massive. The owners would host Sunday mass here in the ballroom for the neighborhood. Mr. Henderson was a devout Presbyterian. In the spa you’ll see a small ornate closet with a screened window. This is an original confession booth to the building
Electronics and lights in this room have notably behaved in bizarre ways according to numerous guest accounts and some have heard hums of singing. Frank Henderson was known to have a pleasant deep bass singing voice
