Turn left at Shrader Street, and continue to the corner of Grattan Street.
At 1201 Shrader is a Bailey’s acacia from eastern Australia; the scientific name is Acacia baileyana. This corner address has two trees, and the Bailey’s acacia is the one on the southwest corner with the bluish-grey foliage on the Shrader Street side. Bailey’s acacia is the first tree to flower in the Spring – in late January you’ll see its brilliant yellow flowers.
