Fruitdale

This community was named Fruitdale on account of the fruit orchards located near the original site.  A post office called Fruitdale was established in 1891, and remained in operation until 1931. Besides the post office, Fruitdale had a general store and train depot on the Ohio Southern Railroad.

Fruitdale is home of the popular HipCamp Destination, Fruitdale Farm on Moxley Rd.
