Directions to Grove Street Cemetery

Continue walking down Bristol Street then take a right onto Ashmun Street. As you continue walking down Ashmun Street, you will see Grove Street Cemetery on your left. Our next entry on the tour is about Grove Street Cemetery, so feel free to listen as you walk by the Cemetery. If you would like to go into the Cemetery, it will add some time to your walking tour. The cemetery is usually open between 9AM and 4PM daily. For directions to the cemetery, continue down Ashmun Street until you reach the intersection with Grove, where you will take a left onto Grove Street. Continue on Grove until the intersection with High Street. On the left you will see the entryway to the cemetery. The gates read: “The Dead Shall Be Raised,” so enter at your own risk. If you prefer to just look into the cemetery, continue on Ashmun Street and wait at the corner of Ashmun and Grove.
