Ice Lab
Welcome to the Isfjordscenter's outdoor laboratory, where you have the opportunity to put your hands on the ice. We have put out some ice on the podiums and you are welcome to get up close and study the ice. The ice is collected out in front of the Ice fjord and is therefore identical to the type of ice that the largest of the icebergs are made of. Get up close and watch the colors change with the angle of sunlight. The blocks of ice here on the podiums will slowly melt away - but we do what we can to capture some new ice as they disappear.
