ALL of my work seems to have a virus theme these days. Its hard to get it out of my head when I'm in the studio. Collages are fast and get ,y point across quickly. In this piece I was thinking about being able to get out to see and experience art again in real time.

I pulled out a lot of old art work during the quarantine and either finished it, tore it up, or added to it. This was an older stencil monotype that I began to paint on top of and later added collage elements. I like not having an outcome in mind because I always find somehow the way I am feeling gets communicated in the if I let myself go with instincts.

Honoring social distancing, I am quarantined in my studio completing many unfinished pieces laying around as well as some new pieces inspired by the pandemic.
