The image came to my mind during the stay-at-home segment of the coronavirus flare up. It is my inner self meeting obstacles and having to deal with them, as they seemed to come from outside myself, yet were creations of my mind. I gained some familiarity with these obstacles, which seemed oppressive.

The coronavirus does not affect my artmaking, which is a solitude practice anyway. It has impacted the way in which I show the work -- being more dependent on electronic means and private appointments.
