The scientists at Fleischman Unlimited developed this amazing scientific wonder that cleanses the air of unwanted negative energy using the new, patented electrostatic transmogrification process. If you're lucky enough to have one of these beauties installed on your block, you can rest assured that positive energy and good things are coming your way. During these strange days, I often feel overwhelmed with the amount of uncertainty that we are experiencing. I was thinking it would be wonderful to have a machine that would take negative energy and turn it into positive energy, like a giant energy filter. This lead to the idea for the "Transmogrifier"; a 2- 4 minute animation featuring a box that funnels negative energy from one side, transforming them into positive images and sending them up and out the top of the screen.
Coronavirus is a strange beast that effects my ability to focus as an artist; there have been days when I just sit in my studio and stare blankly at the work in front of me. It feels self indulgent to be working as an artist when there are people getting sick and dying. However, living during a pandemic has also shown me that art is an important vehicle for expressing ideas and experiences and it has the ability to promote change, reaffirming that art IS important and I should continue to face the challenge of creating during this crisis. So I put on my big girl pants and get into the studio and make ART!
