The art car project was inspired by the phrase "Andra Tutto Bene" that originally came from the artworks made by the children of Italy and became a symbol of hope during this pandemic. I believe the message is clear. Metaphorically and literally I wanted my car to be used as a vehicle to spread hope. My original plan for the mobile sculpture is to travel around our community during the Covid-19 outbreak until we have a viable vaccination available for the masses. I plan on using several social media platforms to coordinate with neighbors to display the art car at residencies, businesses, art venues and document its travels. I believe this is a fun way that will provide a new solidarity to our city along with the surrounding areas it will travel to in the future.
I am fortunate to own a space to make and live. I was furloughed for three months during COVID and now currently am back at work full time for now. My work is following my interest in psychology, games, and free play.
