Built in 1850, this functioned as a stable and carriage house for personal use by Jacob Tome, Cecil County's first millionaire. The side lot to the north of this building was Mrs. Tome's garden and greenhouse, with the mansion at the furthest point, in front of the prounounced terraces in the hillside.
