The Pontotoc Farmers Market will be held every Saturday this summer in downtown Pontotoc, starting at 7 am.

Pontotoc is located in northeast Mississippi about 20 miles west of Tupelo and about 15 miles northwest of the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Pontotoc is a Chickasaw word meaning "Land of Hanging Grapes". Chickasaw lived in this until the 1830s when they were forced to move to Indian Territory through Indian Removal.
