We will start our tour in the magnificent rotunda that is the entrance into the museum. Here we can see a large model of the African Bush Elephant - the largest of it's kind. Notice the raised trunk and fanned ears. This elephant is alert - something has caught his attention and he's off to investigate.
We should approach the museum in the same manner, alert and ready to learn what's going on in the world around us. We're on a journey through one of the world's greatest exhibitions of nature and culture.
Take some time to enjoy the elephant exhibit. Try to spot all the other animals present. They may not be as imposing as the mighty elephant but they are all just as important to the rich African savanna ecosystem.
Once you've managed to find all the animals move behind the elephant towards the fossil section and start the next leg of our journey.
