Annette Troncoso - "Para Ti" and "Back in the Fields"

Hello. Thank you for taking a moment to look at my two paintings, “Para Ti” and “Back in the Fields”.  My name is Annette Troncoso. I have worked as both an artist and art teacher in the San Luis Valley for most of my adult life.

My surroundings have always been an inspiration no matter where I have visited or lived. I have always found people willing to give insight to their lives.

My two paintings are from a series I started well over thirty – five years ago which culminated with an Exhibition called “Agriculture at the turn of the century in 1998. The series did not end with that show however and continues to this day.  Being raised in Los Angeles I have always been taught to respect the people who brought food to my family table. The vitality and hard work of agricultural workers, combined with the backdrop of the San Luis Valley only exemplifies all of Colorado.

Again, thank you for viewing mine and my fellow artists’ work.

The best to all of you.
