Mapelastic® AquaDefense is a ready-to-use, fast-drying liquid-rubber membrane designed for waterproofing and crack isolation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. It forms a thin, continuous barrier that protects floors and adjacent areas from water damage. For high-risk zones such as corners, coves, cracks, and drains, Mapelastic AquaDefense can be reinforced with MAPEI’s optional Reinforcing Fabric or Mapeband™ accessories. The membrane dries in 30–50 minutes and is ready to receive any MAPEI polymer or epoxy mortar.
