Exhibits ask a broadie

Part 8: Ask a Broadie, Be a Researcher and Conclusion

Part 8: Ask a Broadie, Be a Researcher and Conclusion.

The final two exhibits in the Discovery Center are the two stand alone blue and white digital interactive exhibits located underneath the edge of the mezzanine overhang.

The oval table closest to the window is a digital interactive game, called Be a Researcher. You can play this game by yourself or with one other person. The goal of the game is to uncover the biological mechanism of a disease and develop a new treatment strategy by collaborating with experts.

The large vertical screen to the left closer to the stairs is our Ask a Broadie digital exhibit. Listen to Broad scientists answering some of our most frequently asked questions. You’ll also get a chance to weigh in on the question yourself. Most videos are under a minute long, so feel free to explore several before concluding your visit.

Now that you’ve reached the end of your audio tour, we invite you to take a moment and reflect on what you’ve learned, and think about the questions from the Welcome Gallery. What is your hope for the future of biomedicine? Share your thoughts on our science appreciation board at the table under the stairs.

If you’d like to share any feedback about your visit, there’s a QR code to a short survey on the large sign under the stairs. You can also visit our website, BroadDiscoveryCenter.org or follow us on social media to continue the conversation.

Thank you for visiting the Broad Discovery Center.
