Ceramic.
Coronavirus has impacted my art practice in a number of ways. Initially when everything was canceled I couldn't do my teaching or Pottery Studio work, so I was making work from home. When restrictions were lifted slightly in May I returned to work and was able to fire my ceramics work in the high fire kiln. An artist friend with an electric kiln did the initial bisque firing for me in his private backyard studio.
I do feel like with such widespread unemployment and social unrest during this pandemic election year that there is a lot of creative energy in the universe that an artist just needs to harness.
