With the stay at home orders and shelter in place in Colorado, I have been putting a considerable amount of time in my studio as a way to stay 'sane' and productive. I am using it as a creative outlet to express how this pandemic is effecting me on a physical, mental and emotional level. The work is a direct response to the ever evolving outbreak of COVID-19 and its huge impact on the world and society. It is also a comment on the strange surreal current reality we are living with and how this 'reality' is quickly becoming the new 'normal'.
